Dr. Sharon Lord
General Dentist (Owner) - Graduate of UBC

Dr. Sharon Lord has practised quality dentistry for over 30 years. She graduated from UBC with a Bachelors of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Home Economics. She worked for six years teaching Biology, Chemistry, Math, Physics and Home Economics at Mountain Secondary, Seaquam Secondary and Abbotsford Junior High. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine at UBC where she taught in the Faculty of Dentistry from 2011 to 2017.

Dr. Lord continues to advance her skills through study clubs and continuing education courses. She is a member of both the BC and Canadian Dental Associations. Dr. Lord is passionate about dentistry, has strong ethics and a positive work attitude. She was a member of Langley Memorial Hospital Dental Surgery Team for 15 years, treating children under general anesthesia. She uses nitrous oxide sedation, which is known as laughing gas. Dr. Lord strives to ensure that each patient has a positive, pleasant, and relaxing dental experience.

Dr. Lord enjoys time with her husband and their three adult children who are all pursuing their own professional careers. Dr. Lord’s interests include music, sports, education, travel and cooking. She looks forward to developing long term relationships with patients.


Dr. Lauren Currie (née Cindrich)
General Dentist (Owner) - Graduate of UBC

Dr. Lauren Currie completed her Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics at UBC and was employed as a Registered Dietitian at Abbotsford Regional Hospital prior to returning to UBC to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Currie understands the importance of preventive care and places an emphasis on the role of nutrition in dental disease prevention. She is a member of both the BC and Canadian Dental Associations and regularly attends continuing education events to stay on top of the latest technologies and best practices. Her mission is to provide patients of all ages with high quality dental care in a comfortable and relaxing environment.

Dr. Currie was born and raised in Langley, attended the Willoughby Elementary and R.E. Mountain Secondary Schools, just up the hill from Logan Creek. Throughout her life she has been an active member of the Langley community from lifeguarding at local pools and leading fitness classes, to volunteering at local events. In her spare time she enjoys exploring different areas of the lower mainland with her husband and two children, and spending time outdoors running, hiking, cross-country skiing, and biking. She looks forward to seeing you at Logan Creek!

Dr. Sonia Kaile
General Dentist (Associate) - Graduate of Nova Southeastern University

Dr. Sonia Kaile received her DMD dental degree from Nova Southeastern University in South Florida where she grew up. She married her classmate from B.C. and made the long trek up. She has been enjoying the Pacific Northwest lifestyle for the past 4 years.

Dr. Kaile applies the “Life-changing Magic of Tidying Up” principles not only to her home, but, also her profession. Organizing the roadmap for her patients’ dental and overall health sparks joy.  Her love for Minimalism fuels her creativity which serves to improve her patient’s quality of life.

In her free time, Dr. Kaile prefers travelling to beautiful places or developing her best self through books. Her travels often include continuing education dental courses in other cities or reading up on the latest dental techniques. She recognizes dentistry is a fast paced industry and it’s important to plan ahead!

Dr. Ligia Maia
General Dentist - (Associate) - Graduate of Federal Faculty of Odontology of Diamantina, Brazil

Dr. Ligia Maia was born and raised in a small interior town in Brazil. As a child, she grew up surrounded by a large passionate family making it easy for her to develop a great sense of love and care for all of those around her. One of her biggest influences was her grandfather, who was also a dental practitioner but in an era before there was formal dental education in Brazil. Choosing dentistry as a career was a natural and easy decision. Dr. Ligia graduated from one of the most competitive schools in her province and started working in private practice immediately upon graduation. Ligia, as she likes to be called, met her husband in her hometown and built a loving family with three children, all of whom she is very proud.

Dr. Ligia joins the Logan Creek Dental team after 15 years of running her own busy and well-established private practice in Brazil. She passed the Canadian National Dental Examination Board certification with ease and upon completion was invited to teach other international dental students at one of the busiest courses in Metro Vancouver. Dr. Maia enjoys the fact that she can combine her passions of dentistry and helping others. Her areas of interest are preventive care, restorative dentistry, and dental implants. Ligia likes to spend her time off in the company of her family and her dog, Kiwi. Dr. Maia is thrilled to be a part of Logan Creek Dental, where she can use her experience to provide quality work with a patient-centered approach.

Certified Dental Assistant & Clinical Manager

Brenda has very much enjoyed her career as a CDA since graduating from the University of the Fraser Valley in 1988. She is dedicated to providing gentle care to her patients while striving for clinical excellence. Brenda enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has taken a keen interest in esthetic dentistry and enjoys watching patients transform their smiles.

Brenda was born and raised in Langley and leads a fulfilling life with her husband and two teenage children. She is happy to work with such a dedicated and dynamic team at Logan Creek Dental who all share the same passion and interest in dentistry.

Reception & Accounts Manager

Monica has been in the dental field for twenty years, giving her an abundance of experience working with insurance policies to help patients understand their insurance benefits. She also has extensive knowledge of dental procedures, so you can feel free to ask her questions about your dental visits. In her dedication to her profession, Monica stays on top of the industry through continuing education courses with organizations like The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Invisalign Conferences, and Pacific Dental Conferences.

Monica lives in Langley with her husband and two children.  She graduated from Walnut Grove Secondary then went to BYU Idaho where she received an Associates Degree in International Studies.  She traveled abroad to Europe in-between semesters to complete a Western Civilization course through Bellevue University.  Returning home to BC she went on to complete the Dental Reception Course at BCIT and loves her decision to work in such a great industry.  Monica is excited to be a part of such a great team of dental professionals here at Logan Creek Dental and is happy to watch this practice grow in our community.

Registered Dental Hygienist & Hygiene Services Manager

Michelle brings over 10 years of clinical experience as a dental hygienist to Logan Creek Dental. Dedicated to providing exceptional client care, she is passionate about helping people achieve bright, beautiful smiles and optimal oral health. With a kind and gentle touch, she also strives to make each visit comfortable and pleasant for every patient.

Committed to ongoing professional development, Michelle keeps current with the latest dental trends and technologies by attending informative workshops, seminars, and monthly study club lectures. An Ontario native, she graduated with honours in 2003 from Algonquin College’s dental hygiene program in Ottawa. She holds active memberships with both the BC and Canadian Dental Hygienists’ Associations.

Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, and is kept busy chasing after her two boisterous young boys! She is an avid yoga practitioner, acquiring her teaching certificate in 2008, and also volunteers as a coordinator/foster home for a local dog rescue. She looks forward to welcoming you to our dental family here at Logan Creek!



Terri-Lynn first came to BC when she transferred here while working in the banking industry. Also at that time she utilized her compassionate side and worked in a nine bed group home for youth under 19 years of age.   Finally Terri-Lynn found her passion and love for the dental industry and has worked in the dental field for over 15 years.

Terri-Lynn is committed to helping patients with their fears, questions or concerns.  She has attended several dental conferences and has completed numerous courses with Invisalign, AIDA Implant Symposium and others to further her dental knowledge.

Having lived in the Yukon and Northwest Territories, as well as Manitoba, Terri-Lynn is very happy to have settled down in beautiful BC where she and her husband have raised their three grown children.  Terri-Lynn enjoys to travel and loves to have her nose in a good book.   She is thrilled to be part of the team here at Logan Creek Dental and is excited to build relationships with all our patients.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Brianne is a warm and caring dental hygienist always striving to provide supreme dental hygiene care to all her patients. Dental care has always been a passion for Brianne ever since a young age. She started her career in the dental industry as a Certified Dental Assistant. After graduating from University College of Fraser Valley in 2005, she successfully spent a two years as a dental assistant. In 2009 Brianne graduated from the Vancouver College of dental hygiene. Over the past 7 years Brianne has worked for multiple dental offices all over the lower mainland always ensuring her patient care is her number one priority.

Brianne and her family moved to Langley in 2000. Today Brianne and her husband continue to call Langley home with their young son. In her spare time Brianne loves to ride horses, and spends countless number of hours training and competing in dressage. She is passionate about developing her horses from a young age.  Brianne also loves travelling the world with her family and experiencing new things!


Registered Dental Hygienist

Amber has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for almost 10 years now. She is experienced working in an office setting including cosmetics, implants and periodontics to name a few. She strives working with patients to obtain proper oral health by helping find a specific routine, product or piece of advice for each and every person. She is also sensitive to the nervous patient, always to be sure everyone’s visit is pleasant and comfortable.

Amber graduated with honors from Regency Dental Hygiene Academy in 2009 in Toronto. After finishing school she moved back home to British Columbia and has been here since. Since becoming a RDH, Amber enjoys continuing to educate herself in courses, lectures and reading literature as to keep up with new information and research within dental hygiene. She is an active member with the College of Dental Hygienist of British Columbia and the Canadian Dental Hygiene Association.

Amber is new to Logan Creek Dental as of February 2018. She previously worked at her last office for just over 8 years. During that time she developed close relationships which her patients and finds fulfillment in building caring rapport.

When not working, Amber enjoys spending time with her two young children, family and friends. She enjoys the outdoors including camping and lives a healthy lifestyle.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jeanie grew up in Vancouver, BC where she started her dental journey as a dental assistant. In 2008, inspired by the dental health field, Jeanie packed up her belongings and moved to the Island. There she attended Camosun College to study dental hygiene. Through her studies, Jeanie was given the opportunity to join a team of dental health professionals and travel to San Pancho, Mexico to serve the community. She jumped at the chance and it was this experience that solidified her passion for dental health.

Jeanie brings over 27 years of dental experience to Logan Creek. Her compassionate and empathetic nature provides a basis for her desire to provide thorough, but gentle hygiene treatment. She enjoys educating and working with her patients to provide optimum oral health.

In her spare time Jeanie enjoys spending time with loved ones and her fur-baby, Oscar. She’s also a foodie who enjoys travelling, farmer’s markets and baking cheesecakes! When the weather permits, she’s exploring the great outdoors hiking and kayaking. Jeanie is new to Langley and is enjoying her Logan Creek Family. Jeanie looks forward to getting to know all of you!

Registered Dental Hygienist

Nicole has been practicing as a Dental Hygienist for 11 years now. Nicole graduated with honors from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene in 2008. She strives to provide a relaxing and pleasant visit for all her patients. Educating and working with patients to help them achieve optimal oral health is a priority for her. Nicole enjoys continuing to learn and does so by attending annual dental conferences, workshops and seminars to keep up to date on the latest trends and health information.

Outside of the office Nicole enjoys spending time with her two young boys, family and friends. They enjoy camping and fishing in the summer together and just being outdoors. Nicole worked and lived as a nanny in Switzerland which sparked her passion for travelling and experiencing new cultures. Nicole is extremely excited to be a part of the Logan Creek Dental Team and looks forward to making lasting relationships with the patients

Certified Dental Assistant

Deb brought her childhood dreams of dentistry to life when she graduated with honours from the West Coast College of Health Care in 2007, and has been living the dream ever since! Every time she steps into the treatment room, Deb brings her passion for dentistry and positive outlook; she will care for all the details so you don’t have to. As a member of both the CDSBC and CDABC, she welcomes the learning this progressive field offers. Deb believes in taking great strides to achieve exceptional dentistry, and is driven to maintain excellent standards in technical skill and quality care.

Deb grew her roots in Langley and Cloverdale, attended The King’s School nearby, and has always enjoyed being involved in the community. When she is not at work having an awesome time, she is usually busy somewhere around Langley doing memorable activities with her husband and two sweet boys. She is thrilled to be part of such an amazing team and looks forward to partnering with you in achieving your oral health goals!

Certified Dental Assistant

Kara has been a CDA since 2009, graduating with honours from the CDA program at Douglas College. She has so far enjoyed her career as a CDA and absolutely loves being a part of the Logan Creek Dental team. Kara’s main focus is making the patient comfortable in the dental chair and giving the best quality care she can. Kara keeps her dental education up to date through online courses, studies and dental conferences.

Kara grew up in the Port Kells/Cloverdale area, moving to Langley in 2012 with her husband. Soon after they welcomed their first daughter in 2013 and their second in 2015. Kara enjoys spending her free time with her beautiful young daughters, playing at the park and taking them out on special adventures. Kara also loves watching funny movies and TV shows with her husband, reading a good book, camping with her family and volunteering with her church. She looks forward to seeing you at your next visit here at Logan Creek dental.



Certified Dental Assistant

Lilian has been a CDA since 2005 and is experienced in the areas of general practice, orthodontics, prosthodontics and dental implants.  She values high quality and excellence in dental care and combines this with a warm and caring attitude to make a positive difference in patients’ dental health.

Lilian has a bachelor of science degree from the University of the East, Manila, Philippines.  She keeps herself updated with the latest developments and technologies in dentistry through continuing dental education, dental conferences and study clubs.

Lilian has been living in Langley since 2007 and enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two teen aged kids.  She loves to travel and explore new places with her family. On her free time, she enjoys playing a brisk game of badminton.

Sterilization Assistant

Kelsy is currently a grade 12 student at Walnut Grove Secondary School. She has been in the French Immersion Program since Kindergarten and is working towards her high school certification and Bilingual Dogwood Diploma. She enjoys participating on her high school Cross Country and Track & Field teams, running long distance events. She will be attending post-secondary school in 2020 in hopes to receive her Dental Office Receptionist Certificate and pursue her career in the dental field.


Kelsy really enjoys her position as Sterilization Assistant and being part of the Logan Creek Dental Team. She is dedicated to providing thorough sterilization of instruments and precise set up and cleanup of procedures. She aims to help the office run efficiently and taking every step to ensure patients have a comfortable and positive visit!

Sterilization Assistant

Kiana is currently a high school student at Pacific Academy. She enjoys supporting the dental staff and patients and makes sure that she helps the office run smoothly by setting up and cleaning up efficiently for procedures. Most importantly, she ensures that each patient is treated with clean and sterile instruments. In school, she is consistently on the honour roll and has received various academic and athletic awards including Student of the Year. She is very passionate for sciences and strives to pursue her dream of becoming an Orthodontist.

Kiana’s extracurricular activities include playing volleyball and the piano. She plays volleyball competitively and has played for both school and club teams. Kiana also plays the piano in her spare time and participates in the Royal Conservatory of Music Program. She also loves travelling to different countries and is fascinated in discovering new cultures and experiences.
